Hot Springs is the warmest corner of our service area and the season runs longer here than it does up in the hills. The historic sandstone buildings downtown, the river running through the middle of town, and the ranch country south of it give this area a look that is genuinely different from the rest of the Black Hills. We run weddings, community events, and reunions here through most of the year.

Hot Springs sits lower and warmer than the rest of the hills, which stretches your outdoor season on both ends and makes late spring and early fall genuinely workable here when they are a gamble in Lead or Custer. Downtown is historic sandstone, so load in paths get confirmed rather than assumed. The open ground south and east of town is the windy part, and outdoor ceremony audio there gets planned for that as a matter of course rather than as a surprise. It is about an hour from Rapid City, so travel is in the schedule from the start and not a line that appears later.
