Audio and production setup at a corporate banquet in the Black Hills

Corporate Production

Corporate Events and Galas

The program runs on time and everyone hears it

What is included

What you get

Banquets, award nights, conferences, and holiday parties. We run the audio, the playback, and the program cues off your run of show, with a tech at the board for the whole event instead of a system left running unattended.

  • Podium and lectern audio with a hardwired backup microphone
  • Wireless handhelds and lavaliers for presenters and award recipients
  • Playback for video, sizzle reels, and walk in music
  • Laptop and HDMI patch into house or rented projection
  • Background music through dinner and networking, at a level that allows conversation
  • Program cues run from your printed run of show
  • Award and auction support, including a dedicated microphone for the auctioneer
  • A dance floor DJ after the program when the night calls for one
  • A technician at the board for the entire event
  • Load in, setup, and strike scheduled around the venue's requirements

How we work

Our approach

01

We work from your run of show

Corporate events live or die on the program. Send us the run of show and we build the audio and playback plan around it: who is speaking when, which video plays where, when the lights need to come down, and where the gaps are that music has to cover. If you do not have one yet, we will help you build it.

02

We plan for the microphone getting handed around

Award nights mean a microphone moving between people who have never held one. We set gain for that, keep a hardwired podium microphone live as a backup, and put a second wireless in the room so a dead battery is an inconvenience instead of a stoppage. Somebody on our crew is watching the handoffs all night.

03

We staff the board the whole time

Set it and leave it works until a presenter walks away from the podium or a video comes in twelve decibels hot. We keep a technician at the board from the first announcement to the last, because the whole point of hiring production is that somebody is paying attention when something changes.

What we bring

On the truck

We size the system to your room and your guest count rather than rolling the same rig into every job.

  • Front of house system sized to the room and the head count
  • Podium microphone with a hardwired backup path
  • Multiple wireless handheld and lavalier channels
  • Playback rig with HDMI and audio patch into house projection
  • A mixing console staffed for the duration of the event
  • Background music system separate from the program audio
  • Stage wash or accent lighting for the podium and award area
  • Dance floor system and lighting when the program turns into a party

Questions

What people ask us

Can you work with our venue's in house AV?

Yes, and often that is the right call. Conference hotels here have real systems and real loading access. We will patch into house audio and projection when it serves the program, and bring our own when the house system is not up to what you are asking it to do. We confirm which one it is before the date, not during setup.

Do you provide projection and screens?

We handle the audio, the playback, and the patch into projection as a standard part of this work. Screens and projectors themselves we either use from the house or bring in as a rental line, depending on the room. Tell us the venue and the room and we will tell you which way makes sense.

We need a DJ after the awards. Is that separate?

No, it is the same booking. Plenty of corporate nights run a program first and a dance floor after, and we set up for both at once so the transition is a lighting change and a music cue rather than a room reset.

Do you carry insurance and can you send a certificate?

Yes. Venues and corporate clients frequently ask for a certificate of insurance naming them as additional insured, and we send it as part of the booking process. Tell us who it needs to be made out to and by when.
