Wall sits out on the prairie between the Black Hills and the Badlands, and the events here are ranch weddings, community celebrations, and the occasional Badlands ceremony. Wall is open prairie, which means heat and no shade are the two things every outdoor plan has to solve. Summer afternoons run hot enough that we think hard about where your guests are sitting relative to the sun, because a beautiful ceremony is still miserable at ninety eight degrees in direct light. There is very little rental support in town, so we arrive with backups for anything that matters, since the nearest replacement is fifty five miles behind us. Badlands ceremonies need a permit and their own lead time, so those get started early.
